UBP Group Deputy Chairman Dr. Ahmet Savaşan posted a condolence message for Asil Nadir on his personal social media account.
Savaşan's message is as follows;
It is with deep sorrow that I have learned of the passing of visionary Asil Nadir, one of the most important business people raised by the Turkish Cypriot people. He left an unforgettable mark not only in the business world, but also by making the Turkish Cypriot voice heard in the international arena, increasing its economic power and contributing to social development.
We will always remember him for his entrepreneurship, courage and commitment to the Turkish Cypriot people. I wish God's mercy to the deceased and condolences to his family, relatives and all our people.
